This catalogue poem lists the names of 74 seamen. They were once approached by a young drifter who happened to have a talent for poetry. They each promised him a cake of roe if he could compose a poem including all their names. The young poet managed this with ease and was promptly rewarded by a cake from each and every one of the seamen and was not hungry for a long while.
