Thomas James Godfrey

Thomas James Godfrey, sonur Paul Russell Godfrey (1914-2017) og Mary Elizabeth Thompson (1918-1998), fæddist 4. júní 1947 í Alexandríu í Louisiana í Bandaríkjunum og endurfæddist fyrir trú á Jesú Krist (Jóhannes 3:1-18) í nóvember 1956. Thomas James Godfrey, a son of Paul Russell Godfrey (1914-2017) and Mary Elizabeth Thompson (1918-1998), was born on June 4, 1947, in Alexandria, Louisiana, USA, and born again through faith in Jesus Christ (John 3:1-18) November 1956. He was a student at Louisiana College, where he graduated with B.A. and B.S. degrees in 1969; at The University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated with a Ph.D. in linguistics in 1981; and at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) , where he graduated with an M.S. degree in computer science in 1993. He also served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged at the end of 1971. He married Beth Richards on June 14, 1975. They became the parents of four children (Rachel, Paul, Charis, and David) and served with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Guatemala from December 1982 through March 1988. Thomas retired June 30, 2017, after 25 years of employment as a software engineer.
