Fenrir Ván Óskarsbur

Fenrir Ván (formerly Þórir Hermann, b. 1994) is a classical pianist who studied composition and piano at the Iceland University of the Arts. Fenrir began studying piano, guitar and clarinet at a young age in England, later moving to Iceland and graduating with a diploma in classical piano performance and composition from FÍH and the Reykjavík College of Music.

Despite Fenrir’s classical training, they draw inspiration from a wide range of genres and styles. Fenrir has performed in numerous concerts and has composed and performed original works for wind bands, choirs, strings, and piano, in addition to creating a variety of arrangements.

Alongside music, Fenrir enjoys gardening, sculpture, drawing, writing and the creation of bookworks, and is an advocate for animal protection and climate action.
