Guðrún Böðvarsdóttir
f. 1902 , d. 1936
Guðrún Böðvarsdóttir (Dúna Böðvars) was the daughter of Reverend Böðvar Bjarnason, a priest at Hrafnseyri by Arnarfjörð, and his former wife, Ragnhildr Teitsdóttir from Ísafirði. When her parents separated, Guðrún moved with her mother to Reykjavík. She had two brothers, Ágúst and Bjarna. All of them were musical people, and their brother Bjarni is the most well-known (Bjarni Bö). The two sisters were very close. Guðrún fell ill with tuberculosis and while she was at Vífilsstöðum she stayed at home with her mother and died there just over thirty years old.
