Þorgrímur Þorsteinsson

Þorgrímur Þorsteinsson graduated from Menntaskólinn við Hamrahlíð in 2012. He completed a B.A. degree in Creative Music Mediation at Listaháskóli Íslands in the spring of 2015. His principal supervisor was Sigurður Halldórsson, and during his studies he also received instruction from, among others, Tryggvi M. Baldvinsson, Hróðmar I. Sigurbjörnsson and Úlfar Ingi Haraldsson.
He also studied contemporary (rhythmic) guitar performance at Tónlistarskóli FÍH under the guidance of Sigurður Flosason and Andrés Þór Gunnlaugsson, completing his advanced diploma there in the autumn of 2015.
Þorgrímur has sung with numerous choirs and has performed widely as an instrumentalist.
